sound en∙gi∙neer (noun): a technician dealing with acoustics for broadcast or musical performance

Ms. Carter’s classes were able to hear from Jeff Carter, BYU sound engineer, as they were learning about sound waves! In the video clip, Jeff Carter was showing some samples from a recent project with Alex Boye and the BYU Men’s Chorus. We are so privileged that we have the resources and the teachers, like Ms. Carter, who are willing to invite such amazing guest speakers to show a real-life application of concepts that are currently being learned.
